Public Health Engineer - £41/hr - Contract - 6 months - Manchester or Leeds

The Role:
Our client is an award winning Building Services Consultancy who is looking to recuit a Public Health Engineer to work on contract for a period of 6months+. Office location can either be Leeds or Manchester.

Your duties may include:
Having a good understanding of Legionella and water quality principles and their application in design and maintenance.
Experience in the design of domestic hot and cold water services.
Knowledge / experience;
Underground Drainage including surface water attenuation.
Effluent treatment principles.
Above Ground Drainage systems and sanitation principles.
Rainwater Disposal system design and risk analysis.
Be responsible for:
Ensuring the technical quality of Public Health Work delivered.
Maintain and build ‘client’ relationships with other internal disciplines as well as external clients.
Produce Public Health designs to demanding timescales without compromise of quality.
Undertake and monitor the necessary statutory consultation processes for drainage guiding the client’s strategies.
Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of project briefs.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Public Health Engineer with at least 5-10 years experience.
You should be qualified to HNC / HND or Degree/Chartership level.
You will have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
