QA Manager (Engineering) - 3mth contract based in the Southwest, Bristol, Abbey wood 
KEY SKILLS; QA, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, QA Audit, ISO9001 and AS9100 
NB. Current SC (Security Clearance) clearance is essential for this role

The Role:
As Quality Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of a compliant ISO9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems, ensuring that the Project Teams adopt best practise in their processes and procedures in the pursuit of continuous improvement and the development of a quality culture. 

You will be responsible for maintenance of the Quality Manual and developing the Quality Portal to be the central repository for all Quality matters; providing a conduit between the individual Project Teams Quality Management Systems. Through the application of knowledge and analysis of quality data, provide intellectual review, trend monitoring and report preparation as required, including routine and ad-hoc quality returns for internal and external agencies; escalating issues as appropriate. 
You will also be responsible for undertaking of internal audit.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced QA manager with in-depth knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100 Quality Management Systems and experience in the implementation of a QMS within an engineering dominant environment.
You will have a Diploma in Quality or equivalent NVQ Level 4 or above in Quality Management and be a Certified Auditor/Lead Auditor
You will ideally be a Member of the CQI - preferably Chartered
You will have recent exp experience of working on MOD/Nuclear engineering
