Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side NDA in order to recruit a Quality & Validation Manager to work on an 8 month contract WFH and Harwell.
As a Quality and Validation Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:

Focus on process analysis and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to RWM’s current and future business environment.
Build and maintain internal and external networks to access technical and professional best practice.
Provide specialist IMS advice and support to ensure successful delivery of the work.
Identify and lead the introduction of best practice methodologies, tools and templates, using industry standard best practice as a benchmark. Share knowledge build IMS Practitioner capability within the team.
Works with Process Owners to ensure that key business processes are developed and ensure that the processes, procedures and related documents in the management system are consistent, comprehensive and compliant.
Supports change management, and provides support and guidance to operational teams and process owners (GPOs/CPOs)
Provide coaching and training as necessary.

Essential
Significant experience of delivering integrated management systems in complex, technical and highly regulated environments, preferably in the Nuclear Industry.
Significant experience in business process improvement and process design/re-engineering activities.
Proficient in Process Mapping and related methodologies, tools and techniques.
Knowledge and experience in leading monitoring and reporting of process performance and process maturity assessment, including KPI reporting and management reporting.
Has a passion for leading change, driving continual improvement, sharing lessons learnt and best practice.
knowledge of continual improvement tools such as problem solving, value Stream mapping, 6 Sigma, Kaizen moderation, KPIs and other relevant CI tools and ability to train and coach others.
Significant experience of analysing and interpreting regulations, directives, standards and guidance.
Experience in leading and applying effective organisational change management techniques, with a proven ability to lead change in collaboration with senior management.
Experienced and comfortable with change and the ability to work with an organisation that is undergoing significant transformation and can demonstrate a proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience in working with regulators and ISO certification bodies, including coordination of regulatory inspections and ISO certification, as required.
Detailed knowledge of integrated management systems, with a working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system standards.
Demonstrates excellent listening, communication, and facilitation skills. Proficient in leading elicitation sessions using a variety of requirements gathering methods such as interviews, documentation analysis, workshops, surveys, etc.
Ability to write detail user requirements and document use cases to ensure user work flows are understood.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams, including internal and external resources, to drive integration, teamwork and problem solving while holding teams accountable for performance. Able to lead through engaging, motivating, coaching and empowering others.
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation, and at all levels of seniority.
Excellent knowledge of UK nuclear regulatory requirements, e.g. IAEA GSR Part 2, Safety Assessment Principles (SAP’s) for Nuclear Facilities, Security Assessment Principles for the Civil Nuclear Industry (SyAPs), Guidance on Requirements for Authorisation (GRA), environmental permit requirements and relevant ONR Site Licence Conditions.

Degree qualified.
Chartered with a relevant professional body or having commensurate qualifications and experience.
Knowledge and experience of using SharePoint and software solutions for managing management system documentation.
Certified Lead Auditor in a number of disciplines, i.e. Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, Environment
Knowledge of, or experience with, six sigma or Lean methodologies.
Familiarity with root cause investigation and related tools such as DMAIC, RCA, 8D etc.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Quality / Validation Manager.
5-10 years exp.
