The Role:
The Keynsham QSHE team are a supporting function responsible for providing and maintaining an effective assurance capability within Engineering Services (ES) Projects which includes both the Dreadnought and DSPM projects providing technical design/support services for submarines and Digital Solutions providing Information, Analytic, Decision Support and IT services.

Duties will involve:
To provide support to the ES QSHE Manager.
Support and advise the Project on fulfilling QSHE contractual / legislative requirements.
Manage QSHE BMS documentation and facilitate process mapping.
Undertake technical document review.
Liaise with Project to provide advice and guidance on QSHE assurance matters.
Undertake auditing and CAPA management.

The Candidate: 
Minimum HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an engineer / manufacturing discipline.
Certificated lead auditor in appropriate discipline.
NEEBOSH General Certificate in either H&S or environmental would be an advantage.
Experience of operating either OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 H&S or ISO 14001 environmental management system would be an advantage.
Experience of Quality Management Systems and auditing against the requirements of ISO 9001 within an engineering / manufacturing environment.
Ability to review technical documentation with a good eye for detail.
Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Able to communicate effectively and have an aptitude for learning new techniques, methods and principles.
