Quantity Surveyor - Andover - £345/day (Umbrella) - 6month Contract (Inside Scope of IR35)

The Role:
Our client the MOD is looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work initially for 6 months on a contract basis based in Andover.

Your duties will include:
Supporting individual AB (Army Basing) projects from a QS perspective through the approvals, construction and close out process.
Fulfilment of cost reporting requirements within and external to ABP (Army Basing Projects) Providing cost advice on potential programme wide efficiencies. 
Review of Cost Plans, Preparation of high level cost estimates where required, Support the DIO approvals process involving preparation of cost assurance reports and project and asset level cost breakdowns for individual projects in the AB programme and Provide cost benchmarking advice for individual projects in the AB programme. 
Review of identified VM/VE opportunities and potential cost savings in support of overall programme affordability and Analyse individual projects on cost decisions.
Provide cost advice on Compensation Events, disputes and final accounts for projects in construction 

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with at least 10 years post qualification experience.
You will be qualified MRICS / FRICS.
