Quantity Surveyor - Newport - 6 months - £375 per day - Contract

The Role:
Quantity Surveyors with rail experience required at Newport Central to manage the sub-contract management and customer design change management.
You should be competent with sub-contract design payments and design process as outlined in the Design Strategy to ensure early warnings, and that change is properly forwarded to the customer in accordance to the contract.
You will be facilitating and chairing weekly meetings with the sub-contract design team and preparing commercial minutes in accordance with GMCE requirements.
You will be responsible for making payments and resolving any disputes with the sub-contractors in real time.
You will ensure that the customer's change control platform  is used and that change logs are kept up to date as well as having involvement with EOT duties and activities as and when required.

The Candidate:
Qualified Quantity Surveyor
Experience of the rail sector, or similar infrastructure.
Able to commit to 6 months contract work.
Happy to commute and / or be based at Newport, Cardiff
