SC Cleared  Quantity Surveyor; 6 Month Contract; Andover, to £338.59/day (Umbrella)

Role:
We seek a Security Cleared, degree qualified Quantity Surveyor, ideally with MRICS to work on a variety of projects within the MOD Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).  
You will support army base projects from a QS/cost management perspective through approvals, construction and close out and provide cost and estimate services on various construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Cost control and management, cost reporting, cost advice on compensation events, disputes and final accounts within the DIO.
Review / prepare cost plans, high level cost estimates, approvals, cost benchmarking, cost assurance reports, project and asset level cost breakdowns for individual projects.
Supporting programme delivery and project development.
Review value engineering / value management opportunities and savings.
Provide reports relating to benchmarking, cost reduction data and procurement forecasts.
Implement monitoring and reporting of assets under construction and completed assets.
Support project delivery and close out.
Mentor and coach others on policies, procedures, practices and techniques.

The Candidate:
SC Cleared.
Ideally MRICS accredited.
Degree qualified.
APMP or similar accreditation.
MOD/ defence/similar construction experience.

As per the amended intermediaries’ legislation (IR35); this assignment is deemed to be a Public Sector off Payroll Assignment inside IR35 for Tax and NI.
This assignment therefore can only be offered via a tax compliant Umbrella Company
