The Role:
Our client is a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor business specialising mostly in local authority clients, but also a wide range of other sectors incorporating utilities, groundwork, housing and private clients. 
Due to project wins and ongoing expansion to the team, they require a Quantity Surveyor to be based out of the Liverpool office and be based mostly on site in the St. Helens area. 
The initial project for involvement will be a local authority highways venture incorporating the redesign of a roundabout system.
In addition to the basic salary, a company car or allowance will be offered to the right candidates.

The Candidate:
Ideally a minimum of 5 years' of Quantity Surveying experience.
Background of civils projects, highways, local authority and general infrastructure.
Based local to or within straight forward commute to the Mersey area.
Strong understanding of NEC Contracts and application.
Able to work effectively within a busy site team.
Understanding of core QS practice such as contractual documents, bills of quantities, cost analysis, payments, procurements and progress reports.
