Quantity Surveyors – Property Development: Permanent, Nr. Rhyl, Salary: £Competitive + car allowance

The Roles:
This requirement presents a golden opportunity for Quantity Surveyors of various levels to join a well-established, privately-owned property development company based in North Wales. The company specialises in the design and build of residential (ranging from budget to luxury) and commercial accommodation and possesses a secure project portfolio.
Two positions are available;
·Graduate QS, (final year acceptable) ~£27k plus benefits
·QS (~7 years’ experience) ~£40k plus benefits.

Duties will involve:
As a Quantity Surveyor your primary function will be to be responsible for the financial and contractual administration of projects from award of contract to final account.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
·Analysis of tender allowances
·The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts.
·Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting and agreement of interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
·Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
·Subcontract and Design Procurement
·Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
·Submission of Cost Value Reconciliations
·Preparation of cost to complete
·Financial Reporting
·Cash management and maximisation
·Cash Flow and Turnover forecast
·Provision of standard reports
·Internal Valuations/CVRs and subcontract liability reports in accordance with schedule of accounting period end dates and deadlines.

The Candidates: 
The successful candidates will have;
·Experience in residential and commercial property development and/or construction
·BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course (or be in your final year if applying for the graduate position)
·MRICS or MCIOB would be an advantage, but not essential
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you will be required to represent the company at client and subcontractor meetings
·Strong IT proficiency
·Full, clean drivers’ licence.
