The Role:
Our client BBUK Ltd are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support to the Overhead Line Engineering design business.  The permanent location will be Liverpool with travel to other offices; your expenses will be paid.
Your duties will include:
Handling general minimum commercial expectations.
Ensuring payment on time in line with contractual entitlement.
Customer interfacing on all commercial matters.
Change control submissions, monitoring and settlements.
Dealing with customer correspondence.
Final account administration and settlements.
Post-contract award commercial support to individual project managers and projects.
Pre-contract commercial activities.
Subcontract procurement and management.
Preparation of monthly project reports and commercial input at Gate 6 reviews.
Contractual documentation management.
Risk management. 

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with at least 5 years' experience (with Tier 1 rail contractor or infrastructure providers, eg: NR, TFL)
You will be ideally qualified to degree level and have the desire to work towards professional accreditation (eg: RICS, ICES).
You will have subcontractor management experience in the civil engineering sector.
You must have a positive can-do attitude to customer service, problem solving and meeting deadlines.
