The Role:
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Risk Manager with at least 5 - 10 years experience.
Working with the integrated Programme Management Office which coordinates the delivery and associated PPM services for BAE Systems, so marine / naval / ship / submarine experience is essential.
Promoting best practice in the management of risks, issues and reporting to enhance existing team capabilities.
Management of the collection, assurance, aggregation and distillation of project data from the directorates.

The Candidate:
You will be a highly organised Risk Manager - able to deal with multiple demands in a time-pressured environment.
You will have understanding of the purpose of a programme management office and knowledge of PMO services.
These will include planning, change control, benefits management, information management, and in particular a detailed understanding of risk and issue management and project and programme-level reporting systems.
You will have strong content assurance skills, encompassing a very high level of attention to detail and be able to identify and challenge issues with content; for example project risk registers not aligning with project highlight reporting.
You will be able to review supplied inputs for programme level reporting, risk and issue registers through the lens of senior stakeholders and board members and negotiate and project manage adjustments to presentation, messaging and tone.
As an experienced Risk Manager you will be able to build strong relationships across the programme team, and with wider stakeholders.
Proficiency  in the use of MS Office is ESSENTIAL.
