3 month Contract for a Road Safety Engineer to work on minor highway, traffic and road safety schemes
KEY Skills: Road Safety, Local Authority, Highways

The Role:
To identify, prepare, design, plan, programme and order works and services to develop and deliver the Road Safety element of the Local Authorities Highways Business Plan 
Provide timely and accurate advice to Borough, Town and Parish Councillors on all road safety matters as required. 
To identify schemes for the future programmes as appropriate. 

The Candidate:
Qualification as Road Safety Audit Team Leader 
Extensive knowledge and application of Highway design procedures and standards.
Knowledge and application of Health and Safety legislation including Construction (Design &    Management) Regulations. 
Experience of Key Accident software operation and database maintenance. 
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills (including report writing).
