Safety Case Advisor; 12mth contract, rate c£40.0/hour 
KEY Skills: Safety Case Documentation, Report writing, Nuclear

The Role:
Safety Case Advisor required to prepare documentation in support of safety case implementation activities; Clearance Certificates, Safety Case Implementation Plans, Plant Modification Proposals and Live Safety Case Summaries.

Duties will include:
Supporting the Periodic Safety Review Process with particular emphasis on the management of safety case shortfalls.
Undertake amendment of operations, Maintenance, and Proof Test Instructions in support of safety case implementation.
Provision of advice to projects on the scope and boundaries of the safety case and ensure production of fit for purpose safety cases in line with the safety case development principles.
Presentation of documents and undertaking technical secretary role for safety committees. 

The Candidate: 
You will be qualified to HNC/Degree level and have either an Engineering or Scientific background. Prior knowledge and/or experience of working with safety cases and Sellafield/Nuclear site practices desirable. 
You will have strong analytical skills, together with well-developed communication and report writing skills.
