We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team in Liverpool. As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our civil and structural engineering projects, spanning highway structures and rail initiatives for both public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

​

- Preparation of feasibility studies and design calculations, with a working knowledge of Eurocodes.

- Conducting bridge inspections and assessments, with proficiency in the DMRB.

- Drafting contract documents and specifications, overseeing contractor supervision.

- Potentially managing projects and client interactions.

​

Key Objectives:

​

- Delivering high-level technical services.

- Providing mentorship and support to junior staff.

- Cultivating and retaining specialized knowledge.

- Reporting to the Bridges director and overseeing junior team members.

​

Qualifications:

​

- Minimum 5 years of practical design experience in bridges/highway structures design consultancy.

- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a desire for increasing responsibility.

- Strong client-facing skills and a talent for relationship-building.
