The Role:
Our client Department for Education (DfE) requires a Senior Building Surveyor to be a key point of expertise and knowledge within the Education Funding Agency (EFA) on the delivery of condition surveys. You will provide development and management of planned preventative maintenance schedules, lifecycle planning and the development of technical aspects of advice on such matters to a fragmented education estate management community. The role can be based at either the London, Sheffield, Darlington, Manchester, Nottingham or Coventry DfE office but with frequent travel to London and/or other EFA locations.

The Candidate:
You will be a Senior Building Surveyor with experience of undertaking building/asset condition surveys.
You must have a degree in construction, asset management or similar subject.
You must have full membership of a professional body as a building surveyor (RICS/BIFM).
You will have experience of developing estate strategies and providing advice and support to those responsible for the operational management of the estate.
Experience of developing and/or managing planned preventative maintenance schedules, lifecycle planning and/or working with large condition data sets.

Security Clearance Level Required – BPSS (DS).
