The Role:
An excellent opportunity is available for a talented Senior Drainage and Highway Engineer to join an exciting and successful consultancy in Manchester, to work on a diverse mix of infrastructure projects, working across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Retail and Residential.
As part of an established team of expert engineers and technicians, and working closely with colleagues of various engineering disciplines, the Drainage and Highway Engineer will:
prepare detailed engineering calculations to deadlines, (within budget and to programme),
assist with specifications, feasibility studies, scheme designs and project reports.

The Candidate:
As a successful Senior Engineer holding an MEng / BEng in Civil Engineering or similar, you have gained experience within a similar consultancy environment.
You will also have gained or be working towards CEng status.
Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge and experience of working with regulatory/statutory authorities for highway engineering design, to both S38 and S278 and drainage design to S104, using relevant civil design software such as AutoCAD, WinDes (Microdrainage) and Civil 3D.
Knowledge of some or all of DMRB, Sewers for adoption, Manual for Streets & Local Authority Design Guides and SUDS Manual would be an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
