Overview / Duties:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are pleased to be working for Cavendish Nuclear in order to recruit a SENIOR EC&I ENGINEER to work on a contract basis in Newbury, initially for 12 months.
It is ESSENTIAL that the candidate holds current SC CLEARANCE / SC CLEARED, has significant experience within the nuclear industry sector and working on DECOMMISSIONING PROJECTS..
Your responsibilities / duties will include:
Ensuring that procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
Producing, reviewing, verifying and approving calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation and technical reports.
Producing, reviewing, verifying and approving technical Scopes of Work, technical specifications, assessing tender returns, then checking/assessing and/or approving the outputs to ensure that the requirements of the design contract are met.
Providing technical support to those packages throughout the design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation and decommissioning phases of the project to ensure that the design intent is maintained.
Presenting designs for hazard identification, HAZOP studies and design reviews.
You will be a Senior EC&I Engineer with at least 5-10years experience.
You will have to have worked extensively within the nuclear industry sector.
Qualified to at least HND / Degree / Chartership level.
You will need excellent team building experience.
You will need excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
