Senior Electrical Engineer, £40/hr, 6 month contract, Surrey

The Role:
Produce detailed equipment schedules for issue with the discipline specific designs.
Carry out detailed calculations appropriate to the discipline and review the work of others for accuracy.
Produce combined MEP Residual Risk drawings in accordance with the CDM regulations with input from other discipline as required.
Visit sites as required to determine the quality of the installation process allied to the discipline and report to the client for the whole project.
Work in co-ordination with all other design team members whether internal of external.
Attend design team meetings to represent their technical discipline
Prepare a detailed design programme, considering our deliverables and the required design dependencies from others.
Provide information and agree their input into a 'Cost to Complete' schedule for the appointed work. 
Monitor their time weekly against the agreed costs.
Input into the production of fee proposals and technical bids as required.
Prepare calculations in a clear and presentable manner. 
File calculations in the agreed and appropriate manner.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer coming from a Building Services Industry sector.
You should be able to demonstrate a strong desire for career progression allied to improving skills and professional development.
Good communication skills and able to disseminate information well to others.
A full appreciation of personal accountability for themselves and for the engineers working under their direction.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to the development of Building Services.
