Senior Electrical Technician / Engineer - Contract - 7 months - £300/day - OXFORD - OUTSIDE IR35

The Role:
Our client STFC based at Didcot are looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Technician / Engineer to work on contract initially for 7 months +.
Your duties may include:
Assisting with the delivery of complex vacuum, heating, cryogenic electrical, control and measurement systems.
Production of formal designs (wiring, 3D, BoM, cable plans etc.) for all heating, cooling, vacuum and power sub-systems.
Production of sub-system verification plans.
Maintaining the facility control and acquisition system including modifications to wiring and installation of new systems.
Testing of electrical enclosures / sub-systems.
Manufacture, inspection and testing of cabling and harnessing.
Manufacture and testing of electrical enclosures.
Other duties may include:
Designing racks and control panels as required.
Manufacturing panels and racks to suit new and existing designs.
Modifying existing systems.
Assembling jigs and fixtures as required to support the operations of the group.

The Candidate:
You will be a Senior Electrical Technician / Engineer with 5 - 10 years experience.
You will be qualified to HNC / D or degree level.
Experienced within electrical design, building and commissioning.
Ideally have 17th Edition regulations experience.
