Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager - £550/day West Midlands/ London 12month contract.
Key Words/Skills: Health & Safety, Director, NEBOSH, IRCA, Lead Auditor, Hazardous, Matrix, Infrastructure.
You will be working with Highways England to be the professional head of Health, Safety and Well-being providing innovative leadership and expertise, enabling best practice in the organisation and its supply chain.
Establish a credible vision for Safety, Health and Well being.
Lead and support the wider industry to deliver this vision through the development and implementation of a strategic plan.
Develop a strong intelligence led approach including performance and risk analysis.
Provide the primary source of expertise, facilitating timely and effective investigation of all serious incidents.
Represent the company at industry level forums and regulators.
Lead and develop a team of professional and business support staff spread across all main office locations.
• To establish a state of the art health and safety plan.
• To train the health and safety managers.
• Improve and manage the best practice and performance.
Experience of assurance and audit from a high hazard background. i.e. Nuclear, Power, Rail.
Health and safety management in a design environment (essential).
Major infrastructure design and construction programme experience from a client perspective (highly desirable).
You will be NEBOSH Diploma (NVQ level 6) or equivalent (essential).
Degree qualified in Engineering or science.
IRCA recognized Lead Auditor qualification.
