Senior Highways Engineer: 5 months contract; Southampton, £Negotiable
KEY Skills: Highways, Design, AutoCAD, DMRB, MCHW

The Role:
As a Senior Highways Engineer, you will be working on varied and challenging local authority highway schemes.
Duties will involve supervision of staff, preparation of feasibility studies, reviewing/approving scheme drawings, assisting with the preparation of design fee estimates and interfacing with clients.
A working knowledge of the DMRB and current relevant design standards/codes is essential.
Liaising with other discipline team members to ensure technical integration.

The Candidate:
You will ideally be a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
Experience of working in a highway design office at a senior level is essential.
Experience of delivering highway related projects from conceptual stages through all phases of pre-and post-contract activities.
Technical responsibilities for ensuring designs are delivered in accordance with current standards & best practices.
