Senior IT Project Manager; London 12 Month Contract; 730/day

The Role:
Project Manager to work for the Department for Communities & Local Government (DCLG) developing a full business case for the estimated £1.55m costs of the settlement IT replacement project and secure approval within Government (including from the Cabinet Office). You will establish and be accountable to a Project Board for the delivery of the new system, working with the business area to define the range of potential solutions to business needs and specify the procurement. You will advise on procurement strategy, coordinate input from the user team and provide technical assurance throughout the process.

The Candidate:
You will be a Project Manager experienced in using Agile project management methodology.
You will have experience working in the public sector on business critical IT.
You should have experience of managing IT contractors and contracts.
You must have exceptional communication, leadership and influencing skills.

Security Clearance Level Required – CTC Highly Desirable.
