Senior Mechanical Engineer - 12month Contract - Rate £neg - Risley & Sellafield

The Role:
Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work on Sellafield Design/Build Projects. 
Candidates may be based in either location must be prepared to travel to Sellafield if based in Warrington to meet the requirements of the project.

Duties will include:
The development of engineering solutions from a design brief and/or plant survey. 
Undertaking calculations to support / underpin the design and authoring technical reports.
Undertaking the checking of engineering work performed by others.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with at least 5-10 years experience.
Degree qualified or Chartered.
You will have significant experience gained on Projects in the Nuclear Sector and will have good knowledge of relevant standards  & legislation.
You will be fully competent with Microsoft Word / Excel etc.
Competency in AutoCAD / AutoCAD LT desired so as to allow flexible working.

Desirable:
You will ideally be competent in Mechanical Engineer and up to date with relevant legislation and standards.
SC clearance (or above) required.  P4 pass holder preferred.
