Senior Mechanical Engineer; rate to c£39/hr, 12mth plus contract, Warrington

The Role:
Experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with Nuclear experience required to start as soon as possible in Warrington.
Duties will include: 
As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will provide design solutions for the nuclear industry and coordinate the production of: 
- Design Schemes 
- Design Proposal Drawings 
- Detail Drawings 
- General Assemblies 
- Functional Specifications/ Functional Requirements Documents 
- Technical Reports and Studies 
- Design Justification Reports 
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also provide cost/timescale information and progress reporting

The Candidate: 
You will be HNC (or equivalent) minimum qualified (preferably degree) and able to manage several teams of Designers and Engineers and undertake checking of Mechanical deliverables
The successful Senior Mechanical Engineer will take responsibility for delivery of multi-discipline work package to programme, budget and required quality, provide cost/timescale information and progress reporting. Identify and respond to task variations through formal change control. You will have presented at Designers Risk Assessments / Design Reviews and ideally at HAZOP studies. 
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will have working knowledge of AutoCAD, fabrication techniques, a good knowledge of achievable manufacturing accuracy, 
Ideally will have some 'hands-on' experience with an understanding of Geometric tolerancing, weld symbols, limits and fits, surface finish and good working knowledge of commonly used materials and standards
