Senior Mechanical Engineer - 4months Contract - Bristol - £Negotiable

The Role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team engaged on the development, design and production of Weapons Handling and Weapons Launch Systems for the new Successor Class Submarine;
Assisting with the design definition of Weapons Handling Systems;
Completion of drawing suite and design suite updates for the JB-III (Batch I) WHLS, ensuring the design information is maintained and updated in-line with developments from manufacture of the WHLS in overseas locations; 
Interpret and quickly implement and check others works in regards to implementation NCR's/CR's and other engineering changes into design packages 

The Candidate:
You will be a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience of  Teamcenter PLM and Systems Teams. 
You will have at least 5+ years' experience in designing and drafting submarine or maritime components. 
You will have familiarity with Submarine Weapon Handling and Launch Systems. 
Experience of Team centre and NX is also required. 
Must be able to work autonomously or as part of a team to turn around drawings in an efficient manner. 
You will be qualified HNC/HND or Degree/Chartered in Mechanical Engineering.
