The Role: 
Senior Project Engineer to provide engineering solutions for complex projects and to ensure that design authority standards and configuration controls are applied appropriately. 

Key Tasks include: 
Identification of project functional requirements and stakeholder needs for assigned project.
Providing management to engineering support to the project/s. 
Contribution to production of Project Execution Plans including design, safety case and commissioning strategies. 
Providing support to project optioneering process. 
Development of concept designs and fit for purpose engineering solution for projects. 
Producing and/or approval of project technical specifications. 
Management of detailed design activities in accordance with design authority standards. 

The Candidate: 
You will be an experienced project Engineer qualified to HNC/degree and will be a member of a relevant Engineering Institution. Chartered Status is disirable

Essential Experience: 
Significant experience in a practising disciplined Engineering role (Mechanical, Electrical, C & I or Civil) on industrial plant 
Significant experience of nuclear and/or conventional project engineering 
Detailed understanding of relevant Company and/or national engineering standards 

In addition the following is highly desirable:
Working knowledge of the Safety Rules and working knowledge of risk assessment methodology - 
Detailed knowledge of relevant Site Licence and Quality Management System requirements 
Detailed knowledge of CDM Designer role 
Contract Management and Project delivery experience
NB. Triple bar certificate is required for this role
