Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side BB BEP in order to recruit a Senior Project Engineer to work on a 12 month contract at warrington.
As a Senior Project Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:
The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
The role reports to the Engineering Management team.

The primary role is to support the Discipline Lead Engineers with the coordination of new hires and the competency assessments of new recruits to the engineering team, together with the implementation of engineering inductions.

This role will also be responsible for the management of key project activities where cross delivery stream and discipline aspects require coordinating. This will require the application of experience and lessons learned to assist or advise the delivery streams in the implementation.

Flexibility to accept new duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager, as the project develops from detail design through to commissioning. This will be required to provide the focus, drive and rigour to the delivery team for key packages against the Project Programme and in line with prioritisation of the project.


Candidate:
Have 15yrs (preferable) demonstrable experience in delivering in a similar role/environment, with recent relevant exposure to work in the nuclear industry.
Demonstrable experience in the leadership and direction of others to deliver engineering.
Ability to coordinate and carry out competency assessment of engineers and designers.
A self-starter with good communication, analytical and team working skills. 
Experience in the checking and approval of engineering design deliverables, i.e. technical specifications and reports.
Hold a minimum HND or equivalent.
Ideally will hold a Degree and be a Chartered Engineer, or have 20 years’ experience in the field.
