Overview:
Wilde Recruitment ltd are working along side Network Rail in Northampton in order to recruit a Senior Project Manager to work on a 6 month contract.
As a Senior Project Manager your responsibilities and duties may include:
Accountable for delivery of Works Delivery projects in a safe & environmentally responsible manner to time, cost and quality and in accordance with the Governance of Railway Investment Projects (GRIP), applicable Network Rail company standards, current legislation and procedures including HMRI guidance and Asset Management Plan process (AMP).
Manage and implement Construction Design Management (CDM) requirements associated to our projects, to deliver compliance to regulations.
Ensure the Environmental and Social impacts, risks and liabilities are effectively managed during projects (ESMP).
Work closely with Project Managers to lead, encourage, direct and develop specialist teams to deliver successful projects and meet route objectives for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure project governance and assurance is achieved including reviews, change management, risks, opportunity and contingency within the project life cycle.
Establish, manage and maintain robust plans, schedules and financial baselines, ensuring value for money (VFM) is achieved.
Deliver required reporting and forecasting capability to multi-disciplinary teams including commercial, programme and engineering.
Support investigations when remitted to by the relevant designated competent person.
Manage, develop and mentor Project Management Assistants to achieve successful project performance and financial monitoring.
Liaise with Delivery Teams to plan resource requirements including identification and management of critical external resource requirements.
Evaluate the success of projects against its benchmarking and sharing lessons or best practice.
Support the tender and evaluation process and deliver contractor management.
Manage project team interfaces and provide a main point of communication and liaison for all aspects of the project.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Senior Project manager.
You MUST have rail experience.
You will have working knowledge of CDM.
Stakeholder engagement.
Good communication skills both written and oral.
Good people skills.
