Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to work for a very well established client based near Knutsford / Manchester Airport.
This is a really exciting and developing company where you will be engaged in numerous key / leading projects working within the Renewable Energy, Waste Water, Greens, Oil & Gas / Process Industries and Technology & Innovation, providing Project Management, Consultancy and Engineering Services.                         

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong engineering background who can thrive in a demanding environment and deliver on complex design, build and installation projects.

The basis of this role will be to provide commercial, operational and development management within the engineering and projects business. To identify, tender, plan and deliver new opportunities whilst developing and maintaining client and key supplier relationships. Ensure contracts are delivered, safely and to the agreed quality standard within the constraints of the project programme and cost plan.

The Project Manager's duties will include:

-Ensure project specifications are accurate and understood
-Devise and maintain project plans & schedules
-Oversee and coordinate multi-disciplined engineering resource throughout the project
-Identify potential problems and offer effective solutions
-Manage project budgets, costs, and schedules
-Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key suppliers and consultants
-Ensure all Health, Safety & quality standards are met
-Managing the contract change process


-Qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering
-Well-developed Project Management skills including scheduling & budget management
-Previous customer facing experience
-Effective problem-solving skills
-Strong understanding of contracts 
-Ability to prioritise demanding workloads
-Experience of managing teams of people of different disciplines
-Ability to manage both the tender and deliver work from inception to final handover
