Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Project Manager Contract 6 months £525/day West Midlands

The Role:
Development of £5bn framework agreements on behalf of Highways England with Design Consultants and Contractors.
Procure a replacement framework to deliver the Roads Investment Strategy, to be awarded by the end of 2017/2018. This replacement will have to meet the needs of the newly formed Government Company as it delivers the ambitious programme outlined in the first five year plan.
Development of both strategic outline and outline business cases together with various submissions to executive boards for approval.
Engagement with internal and external clients and stakeholders.


The Candidate:
Specialist project management experience in particular in a contract/procurement within an infrastructure context.
Experience of developing complex business cases within a contract/procurement/commercial environment aligned with client and stakeholder requirements.
Ability to translate complex commercial incentive mechanisms into plain English.
Experience or knowledge of Collaborative Delivery Frameworks (CDF).
Experience of contract strategy development and developing strategies that drive collaboration and integration between designers, contractors (including the supply chain) and clients.
