3 month + contract for 2 x Senior QS working on the Great Western Rail Line Electrification Project, based at the Newport project offices. Rate £350 - £425 / day

The Role:
Senior QS to start ASAP during the four month Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase to achieve an agreed level of scope, programme and cost.　
Day to day duties: general commercial management and quantity surveying duties during an ECI / pre-contract stage (pricing works, negotiating with subcontractors, establishing budgets).　
Manages the commercial and contractual control and co-ordination for a section of a large rail project, involving a high degree of complexity and / or risk.
Cost control & budget management through the implementation of commercial review processes monitored via commercial dashboards.

The Candidate:
Qualification / Certification: degree qualified preferred.　
Essential Criteria: experience in electrical engineering and NEC target cost knowledge.
Ideal Background: rail electrification - main contractor.
