Senior Quantity Surveyor - Coleshill B46 - 6 months - Rate c£500/day Umbrella

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Balfour Beatty in order to recruit 2 Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on contract in Coleshill B46.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor your role will involve:
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR or MANAGING QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join our SB3 team to in Coleshill, Birmingham.

SB3 is a joint venture between Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering and Bachy Soletanche, to deliver the deep foundations and the ground improvement work on the Northern Section of HS2. The value of these works is estimated at 550 million.

Role Purpose:

A Senior Quantity Surveyor is a very experienced QS who manages all costs relating on a large building and civil engineering projects or on a number of smaller ones, from the initial calculations to the final figures;
They will have significant experience in minimising the costs of a project and enhancing value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality;
Typically they will have a track record of managing a commercial team and be a Chartered Member of the RICS, ICES or CIOB, and a mentor to other commercial staff on their journey to becoming professionally qualified.

The following qualifications are essential:
BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent;
Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB.
