The Role:
Our client is a well known consultancy business with offices around the world and a comprehensive range of services being offered to the construction and engineering industry.
Due to progressive business growth, and general client development, they are seeking to add a Senior or Associate M&E level member of staff to their cost management team.

Responsibilities:
Leading the commercial team across all project commissions.
Mentoring junior members of commercial staff.
Preparing cost plans and estimates.
Undertaking procurement of projects from start to finish, including the preparation of tender documentation and contracts.
Managing work packages post-contract, including change control and valuation, progress valuations, cost reports and final accounts.
Providing value-adding cost advice and reporting to clients.
Conducting tender analysis for the purpose of contractor appointments.

The Candidate:
At least 5 years' of technical delivery experience within cost management / QS.
Current senior or associate cost management level.
Extensive M&E / building services project delivery experience.
Chartered / MRICS.
Relevant engineering, building services or QS degree.
Consultancy practice experience (as preference to main contractor).
Solid pre and post contract experience including cost planning and procurement.
A genuine leader, client facing and able to communicate effectively across all levels internally and externally.
Excellent client facing skills.
