Senior / Principal Civil / Structural Engineer, long-term ongoing contract or Staff. Working on a variety of high spec building projects including Universities, Hospitals and Offices.

The Role:
Senior / Principal Structural Engineer to work on varied and challenging building and structures projects for public and private sector clients. 
The role requires a ‘hands on’ approach and the ability to apply professional engineering knowledge to deliver projects. 
Duties will involve; the preparation of feasibility studies, design calculations (a working knowledge of current relevant design codes and standards is essential), carrying out structural inspections and assessments agreeing fees, acting as project director for appropriate sized projects, preparation of contract documents and specifications and supervision of contractors. 

The Candidate:
Experience of working in a building structures design consultancy office is essential, typically with at least 6 years practical design experience. 
Self-motivated and enthusiastic 
Capable of operating with minimal supervision 
Leadership skills 
Seeking increasing level of responsibility 
Client facing skills and ability to build client relationships
