Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Balfour Beatty in order to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer to work on a 4month contract at Warrington.
As a Structural Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:

The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).

Senior Structural Engineer reporting to the Area Lead Engineer 000 and supporting the Principal Civil/Structural Engineer on a full time basis:
Responsible for the production and checking of structural/civil calculations and technical reports.
Responsible for engineering check on drawing to ensure design intent has been captured in drawing production.
Awareness of CDM Regulations and duties as Designer.
Nuclear Experience an advantage

Candidate:
Degree or HNC qualified, Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) with 5+ years post-Chartership experience.
A pro-active, self-starter with good communication, analytical and team working skills.
Understanding of CDM Regulations.
Experienced STAAD user.
Calculation production using Excel.
