Senior Town Planner for Local Authority client, 12 months+ Contract - Lancashire

The Role:
Senior Town Planning Officer with demonstrable experience in Development Management to deal with major and complex planning applications and to manage one of our area Planning Development teams within Local Authority Client. With previous experience of delivering high performance standards in planning, you will be required to deliver a quality service to our customers. 

The Candidate:
You will be a member of the RTPI with extensive knowledge and understanding of current planning legislation and local government issues related to planning. He /she will also have a clear understanding of the relationship between corporate priorities and the delivery of the service. 
Experience of dealing with major and complex planning applications, and the ability to motivate, lead and manage staff
