Civil Site Engineer - Ellesmere Port - £35/£45hr - Contract - 6 months

The Role:
Our client CH2M is looking to recruit a Civil Site Engineer / Design Site Representative to work on a contract basis in Ellesmere Port for an initial period of 6 months.
Your duties may include:
Representing the Design Manager on site.
Be responsible for dealing with any unclear aspects of the design and assisting in providing clarifications to the Construction team.
Dealing with design changes due to site conditions, design and specification clarifications (RFIs and TQs).
Dealing with supplier interfaces.
Attendance at site progress meetings or other meetings.
Collating red-line marked up drawings for as-builts.
Weekly update of design programme to be integrated into the construction programme.
Track/manage supplier design deliverables and coordinate the review and comments.

Comments/Special Instructions
The position is based on site near Ellesmere Port.
Candidates must have extensive design and construction experience in wastewater treatment works.
Start date is as soon as possible as the project has already started on site.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Civil Site Engineer with at least 10 years experience.
You will have extensive design experience.
You will be ideally qualified to Degree level or ICE or similar.
You will have excellent communication and people skills.
You will be computer literate.
