Site Engineer (Temp Works), c£40.0/hr Limited - 12mth+ contract – Newbury
KEY Skills: Site Engineer, Temporary Works, CDM, CSCS, IOSH, NEBOSH, SC Clearance, CAD
Site Engineer (Temporary Works) required for long term contracts.
You will be responsible for ownership of packages of work that may include the following elements:
Review of the site setup and design documentation
Author Safe Systems of Work
Liaise with all interested parties in the company and client
Manage the approval of all documentation
Collate all relevant docs (WAF, Drawings, Orbit sheets)
Briefing off working parties
Manage the work (including arranging all QA inspections)
Deal with all technical issues
Drive the work progress
Ensure work is closed out correctly
Manages the Lessons Learned process for the task
You will be an experienced Site Engineer (Temporary Works) with temporary works experience.
You will be qualified to Degree/HNC and hold a suitable safety management qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH).
You will have a working knowledge and experience in applying relevant EH&S and have a good understanding of CDM regulations.
You will Ideally have a working knowledge CAD. Have a basic knowledge of fabrication techniques.
Have good knowledge of working on a fast-moving construction site Ideally have some 'hands on' experience.
Basic knowledge of geometric tolerancing, weld symbols, limits and fits, surface finish.
Working knowledge of commonly used materials and standards.
Must obtain a CSCS card prior to starting employment.
Must hold SC clearance or have the ability to hold SC Clearance with no restrictions.
Must be a UK National and not hold dual nationality
