Siite Manager - Power T&D

Are you an experienced leader in site management within the power transmission and distribution sector? We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join our team and drive excellence in health and safety, quality, cost control, and client satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across various projects in the UK and make a significant impact in the field of infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Front line management with a focus on health & safety, quality, cost control, and client satisfaction.

- Supervise and monitor teams to ensure consistent delivery of value and the highest standards.

- Forward plan and program daily work to optimize resource utilization.

- Interface with internal stakeholders including Contracts Managers, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Support Functions, Enabling Functions, Project Teams, and Supply Chain.

- Engage externally with Clients, Partners, Subcontractors, and the local community.

- Take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others.

- Cooperate with all health and safety requirements to enhance legal duties.

- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all personnel under your control.

- Report any safety concerns promptly and take appropriate action.

- Ensure proper training and competence for safety-critical work activities.

Accountabilities:

- Deliver specific tasks and exceed key success measures.

- Understand commercial and business risks to achieve targets.

- Support proactive management of customer relationships.

- Drive continuous improvement in safety, health, environment, and quality.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- TP137

- Extensive site management experience in OHL, Cabling, or Substation projects up to 400kV.

- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.

- Commercial awareness with budgetary and financial control skills.

- Excellent relationship management abilities.

- Comfortable working across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions.

- Proficient in risk assessment methodologies.

- Qualification in IOSH, CDM, or equivalent is desirable.

- City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent certification.
