The Role:
Our client, Balfour Beatty are carrying out underground services works at a highly-sensitive MoD site and require a seasoned Site Manager with SC clearance to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, QHSE, contractor monitoring and work closely with the works Project Manager to ensure works are completed to schedule, and raise any issues.

Duties will involve:
Ensure Works within AOR are being carried out safely. 
Set contractors to Work within AOR.
Co-ordinate onsite activities between trades in AOR and that they are carried out to program.
Advise PM early of any potential issues. 
Attend Morning DABS Briefs at TFA.
Carry out morning DABS Brief at AOR and Update DABS Boards at AOR Site Office.
Back-brief PM on progress/issues. 
Ensure Permits are in place for works requiring them prior to commencement of works.
Co-ordinate with Ian Russell and request in advance. 
RAMS Appraisal; appraise sub -contractors RAMS as applicable in good time prior to commencement of works and record on Standard Form: HSES-SF-0011c.

The Candidate:
Due to the sensitive nature of the work site, anyone applying for this position MUST have active Security Check (SC) UK Vetting Agency security clearance. Candidates without SC clearance will not be considered.
You will also have extensive site management experience, particularly on sites undertaking works on underground services. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are also required.
