The Role:
Our client require a Structural Engineer (Chartered) to work as part of a multi-disciplinary design team engaged on projects in the Steel sector.
As a Structural Engineer  (Chartered) you can expect to be the Principal / Associate Engineer on high level projects, from cradle to grave. You will be responsible for managing and leading the design team and ensuring projects are complete in a professional and timely manner.

Duties will include: 
Tender and detailed design under a design and build environment.
Managing the interfaces with other key disciplines.
Assist with the overall coordination and production of the multi-disciplinary designs from tender to completion of construction.
Help co-ordinate the design team throughout the delivery period.
Provide Input into risk management.
Participate in design reviews on a regular basis to identify potential design and buildability issues.

The Candidate: 
You will be a Chartered Structural Engineer with a recognized professional body (MIStructE, MICE or similar). 
You will have significant experience alongside comprehensive technical construction knowledge, proven experience of producing accurate technical outputs.
