A vacancy exists for a Structural Design Engineer to work on varied and challenging building and structures projects for a public sector client.
Key Skills: Structural Design Calculations, Appraisals, Building Structures, Commercial, Public.

The Role:
Co-ordinate all designs, drawings and programme tasks for each scheme.
Attend site visits and meetings where required to do so.
Prepare scope of works for major capital projects
Able to deal with appraisal and control of structural repairs including listed building.
Provide estimates for demolition of any building. Design and draw demolition projects

Typical projects include:
School and Housing Extensions
New builds Refurbishment
Demolition/ Remediation
Miscellaneous Structural Appraisals
Structural Repairs/Solutions
RTB Surveys
Adhoc Structural Surveys
Risk Assessments

The Candidate:
Ideally be a Chartered Engineer or have equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 5 years post graduate experience.
Have a working understanding of CAD systems.
