Excellent Staff opportunity for a Structural Estimator to work for a long established structural steelwork consultancy, based in Lancashire; £Negotiable

The Role:
You will be required to accurately and efficiently estimate structural steelwork solutions based on tender documents, drawings, models and bills of quantity. 
Evaluate and maintain material costs, erection concerns, and fabrication procedures as they relate to the total installed cost of the structure. 
You will also be involved in co-ordinate daily quotation activities as well as recommend economical product solutions to accommodate various sales and enquiry requests. 
Manage the schedule and programme demands as set forth by clients and other members of the estimating department to ensure all deadlines are met. 

The Candidate:
You  must have previous experience of estimating in a structural steelwork background within the United Kingdom. 
You will have a good understanding of contracts relating to structural steelwork projects, particularly NEC3. 
Good communication skills are essential in addition to your ability to engage with prospective clients. importance. 
You must also be able to read, interpret and understand structural drawings, and be able to extract quantities from 3D models from various software packages, predominantly TEKLA.
