The Role

Wilde Recruitment are helping DSTL to recruit an Air Domain Systems Engineer to work on a contract basis initially for 2 years based at Porton Down.
The role and your duties involve;
This role will involve working with industry and MOD to support the delivery of a system (hardware) to be installed at maritime sites or maritime platforms based on a set of high level requirements. The hardware will include computing elements, radios, RF elements and antennas. The role will require a confident individual who is able to work with a range of internal and external parties to manage the delivery of the hardware. The individual must be able to take responsibility and lead own work as per direction informed by the project.

Candidate Requirements:
Experience in:
• RF engineering.
• Hardware design, build and integration onto military sites and platforms.
• Hardware assurance and testing.
• Appreciation of C2 integration.
• Through life product lifecycles.
• Requirements capture.
• Previous experience working with DE&S, and knowledge of their processes (ideally accreditation).
• Knowledge of EMC.
• Mechanical engineering awareness.
