Overview:
The Whole Boat Engineering Management Team (WB EMT) provides three core functions for Babcock’s activity on the Dreadnought Project; Design Management, Integrated Logistic Support Elements, and Whole Boat Integration. The three facets are mutually dependant and ultimately provide the basis for what is the Whole Boat Support Integrator (WBSI).

Your Duties:
The Systems Engineer (Configuration) role is primarily to provide support to the Configuration Lead to manage the configured ‘supportable submarine’ including the configuration of supportability analysis and support products.
Ensuring control across the project in accordance with the configuration management plan, providing guidance to achieve the aforementioned, to act on behalf of the Configuration Lead when necessary, to assist in document control when required, to take ownership of aspects of configuration management as directed by the Configuration Lead.
Responsibility for defining requirements against the Support Maturity Management Plan and MOD policy, defining the Verification and Validation activities in the satisfaction of requirements and providing an independent assurance capability against the Major System Technical Authority deliverables, assessing the ‘technical goodness’ of the analysis and products developed.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Systems Engineer.
You will have at least 5-10years experience.
Ideally have Naval, Marine, Defence, MOD experience.
Ideally STEM or Degree qualified.
Ideally SC Cleared or have the ability to be!
