Systems Environmental Manager; 10 Months+ Contract; Bristol; c£480.0/day (Umbrella)

The Role:
As a Systems Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects related to an Environmental Monitoring Programme and have responsibility to:
Fully understand (including applying) the principles and techniques of system safety risk assessment and environmental impact analysis as well as being able to interpret the results and provide advice to senior managers and stakeholders is required.
The duties will include setting up and tailoring management systems, supervising those systems and arranging or undertaking audits to demonstrate that those systems are compliant with policy and TLB instructions, appropriate and functioning correctly. 
 
The Candidate:
You will ideally hold a Degree in an Environmental subject and preferably a professional qualification such as IEMA, IWEM, IES, IEEM, or similar.
Previous experience of working in a relevant environmental role. 
To develop and publish SDA environmental strategy and policy. To provide the SDA with environmental assurance through auditing and performance reporting to the SDA ExCo.
Experience of producing high quality technical reports.
Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with other discipline team members.
