Technical Author - Seascale - 12months - Rate c£39/hr Umbrella

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Balfour Beatty in order to recruit a Technical Author to work on a 12 month contract at Seascale.
As a Technical Author your duties and responsibilities will include:
Project Description: The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
Job Description / Role:
To produce a suite of compliant, professionally produced documentation including; Commissioning Test Documents (CTDs), and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) documents within defined time frames;
Reporting directly to the Commissioning Support Manager;
Liaising with the CTL’s, to produce the CTDs; 
Interrogating engineering / design and vendor information to produce the CTDs and System Overview Documents (Volume B) and to enable the collation of Vendor documents (Volume D);
Attending progress meetings;
Ensuring Safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm.
Ensuring quality standards, and consistency are applied throughout the range of documentation being produced;
Supporting the development of a collaborative project culture in line with Collaborative Working Plan
Essential Experience and Qualifications: Nuclear background
Minimum HNC in an appropriate discipline.
