Technical Clerk / Document Controller

Technical Clerk - Seascale CA20 - 12 months - Rate c£20/hr Umbrella.

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Balfour Beatty in order to recruit a Technical Cleark, working on a 12 month contract at Seascale CA20.
As a Technical Clerk your duties and responsibilities will include:
The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
Preparation, implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Document System.
Promotion of continuous improvement across the Project documentation systems.
Understand and manage the processes necessary for the provision of timely appropriate document Submissions and transmittals.
Ensure the quality standards of the JV and the Client are consistently met.
Ensure any M&P sub-contractor document management systems and submissions satisfy the requirements of the Project.
Ensure documents can be tracked in a timely manner.
Manage document control process for the M&P team as required.
Attend meetings as dictated by the project requirements.
Support and advise the M&P team as required.


Experience of Document control.
At least 5 years’ experience of working within systems and procedures.
Full working knowledge of data bases.
Computer literate.
Organised and efficient.
Be able to work to tight deadlines.
Team worker/Welcoming approach
Good timekeeping/time management.
