Technical Writer – 2 year contract in Nuclear industry (Scottish Highlands)

The Role:
Our client requires a Technical Writer to provide support for the maintenance of the Project Quality Management System at Dounreay in Scotland (Highlands). You will be responsible for writing operating instructions and supporting compliance against relevant standards and statutory requirements. As Technical Writer, you will prepare operating instructions and implement changes to existing documents, monitoring and assisting with implementation of corrective actions. You will interact with Site Management Systems department, site system controllers and internal auditors, liaising with stakeholders to undertake plant and system walkdowns to assess the validity of operating instructions and structure. You may also be required to run SPI reports to ensure compliance with LC28.

The Candidate:
You must be a Technical Writer with 5 years engineering experience.
You will have a HNC qualification in engineering.
You should have Nuclear industry experience.
You will be able to obtain Security Clearance (holding current or previous clearance preferred).
