TRAFFIC ENGINEER: Contract, Rate £Negotiable, Manchester Area
Key Skills: Traffic, TRO, TTRo, Parking Permit Schemes, HNC, S278

The Role:
You will be working with Traffic Regulation Orders and Parking Issues, providing support to various partners such as the Emergency Services, Highways England and TfGM.
You will also need experience of local transport schemes, Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs), Section 278 agreements, parking permit schemes, accident investigation, etc.

The Candidate:
Good knowledge of working with Traffic Regulation Orders and the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2002 and 2016.  
Experience of having worked in a Highways Traffic Design within a local authority is beneficial
A good understanding of the TRO process and the role of the Highway Authority within this process.  
Experience of Manchester’s road network is of a considerable benefit.
Experience of implementing residential schemes in accordance with Manual for Streets would be of value
